They dont have servers. Nearest is in Sweden. But they do choose english in languages. For them its more interesting to play. Lots of russians still hate western countries, so they want to compete them and own them. Other thing is Navi. They inspire alot and they play eu west/english aswell. They want to be like navi.
Stop this stupid racism and general accusations. What you see are the black sheeps, that's all, you can't notice all the Russians not chosing English when they can't speak it. And btw, I choose Korean and English Langauge and for some reason it feels like I have less black sheeps in my games. Maybe try, never got to speak Korean language so far.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm either too good or too scrub to play with Russians. I mean, are they really that common? I rarely find them in my games and the times I do, they aren't half bad.
I once got carried by one even, some guy who liked to play really agressive, even though he was a PL and probably shouldn't have done that in normal circumstances, but hey, I like to play agressive too, so we worked it out even though he only communicated via chat wheel.
Did you know MM doesnt just look at win/loss? If you lose and play well, your MMR can still rise. You play with shitty russians because either there is a stack messing with the team's rating or you suck
I am russian , but i speak english at all time , and do not enjoy playing with others russians. There just annoying
most of them cant rly play on russian server it may be hard to believe but its hosted in sweden :C

It's between the Russians and Mexicans; I can't decide which I hate more. I honestly don't think I've EVER heard a Russian voice chat. I have, however, heard Mexicans blabbering on. They make the dumbest decisions, too.
Okay just to cover everything mentioned in this forum:
- Nobody knows when server will be back up
- All of SA is full of shitty players, Russians have a lot of bads but also a lot of good players, Pinoys are the worst when it comes to attitude
- OP is really bad at DotA judging by his farm speed and item choices, even in games where he is/should be winning
- Stop blaming EVERYTHING on others, yes, you can lose because of feeder teammates, but it's their MMR that will drop, not yours, unless of course, you are the feeder teammate
- KDA doesn't mean shit. Winning the game can be done with a really low KDA simply because you are supporting with wards, mek, pipe, true sight, etc. OR if you are an initiator that gets raped at the start of every fight so your score is really low, even though your 4 other teammates win the fight after you die
I don't think Russians are bad. There are lots of good Russian players. I'm only ever upset when anyone plays on an English server but can't speak English. At least the Russians I've played with can scream for help or stuns. But I think it's really frustrating when I ask another teammate something and I get Cyrillic or Spanish popping on the screen.
I don't think we should sit here and blame all players from one place. A team of good individual players who can't, and refuse to communicate will still lose to team of bad individual players who work together.
On the flip-side. I've gotten really good at drawing on the map!

Because accoriding to 2009 census. There are 3,072,756 Russians in USA. They have rights to play on US West/East servers.
