Caddap is true. If you end the game with a courier in your inventory, that should be a retarded game.

After some thought, I decided to look into the necessary items to win a Dota game. Granted, we can all sit and say that the essentials are courier, wards, and regen items, but is that the truth? A quick look at Dotabuff's item stats may lead you to believe otherwise. The items in the top 20, win-rate wise, feature Rapier, Assault Cuirass, Abyssal Blade, and other high-profile items, but the system shows that Observer Wards have a <40% win rate and have only been used in 4 million games (for comparison, Power Treads has been used a whopping 50+ million). Does this system show end-game items, how many times these items are activated, purchased, or what? I'm still fairly new to Dota 2 (less than 100 games) and trying to learn as much as I can, and only recently discovered Dotabuff to use as a tool to help me improve. Anybody care to explain how the item stats work (or don't)?
