i play from really early beta at dota2 and still cant figure out how mm works (or tmm).... I guess even d1 league bots had better matched system than this valve's mm
Despite the lack of public response, private responses make it clear that we will keep getting matched to whoever is highest in the que if we play at off times.
So when do most of the top rated teams play on US servers? What is the right time frame to catch them?
nobody's playing tmm because it's not working for some reason, maybe ppl will play it when it's working

Is there a maximum MMR difference where you will not get a match? The other day my 3960 team waited for 23 min before we got a match to a 3440 team. We easily won the game, which was the first position on the first page...but I guess they were the closest MM could get at the time?
What is the largest difference you have seen in team MM score? Do you sometimes wait a very long time if you are the highest team in the que for your region? Will you get better matches if you play in more regions? What is your experience?

Here the team Rapirar rated 5160 played the team Aidz rated 3749. Of course it was a massacre, but maybe that was the closest match possible at the time.
I am just trying to confirm this, does MM just put the 1st and 2nd highest teams in the que together? What do you think?
