PSG.LGD won the EPICENTER XL Major in Moscow, Russia, gaining 2250 DPC points and moving up to the 4th place in the DPC Rankings. The team went 3:1 in their Grand Final battle against Team Liquid and scored the first Major victory for the Chinese region.
Despite only getting second place in the tournament, Team Liquid now have enough points to join Virtus.Pro in getting guaranteed direct invites to the International 2018. Team Liquid and Virtus.Pro are closely followed by Team Secret, PSG.LGD and Mineski and it is unlikely any of these five teams are going to get out of the top8, while the battle for the last three invites starts heating up.
The wait is almost over and the TI8 Battle Pass will be released today. After witnessing a complete collective meltdown on Reddit, Valve decided to take pity on the community and announce the Battle Pass on their twitter:
Tomorrow...

As a result of multiple delays during Chinese Visa acquisition, Vega Squadron will not be able to attend GESC: Thailand. While the team already managed to secure Visas to Thailand, their documents are currently being held in the Chinese embassy, preventing the team from participating in the last Minor of the season. Given the short notice of this announcement, GESC did not manage to find a replacement team for the tournament, making it an 8-team event.
Let's all laugh at NA DOTA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH NA dota.
Do we now have to pay for dota plus + dota battle pass???
Yes, dota+ is ONLY for lower tier stuff, the TI compendiums WILL STAY, as they give a lot more stuff then regular compendiums.
Na dota lol!
YOU GUYS SEE ANY NA TEAM IN TOP 8? I DO SEE ALOT AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Pretty shocking how Valve is catering so much to the Dota 2 subreddit. It's not like this subreddit was particularily bright or objective in the attitudes it promotes, and it's not like the subreddit was the official voice of the community. Perhaps it gives Valve the feeling that they are letting the community grow autonomously, with more freedom than if Valve handled its communication via its own platform? How naive.
My NA dota is hurting.
@No Handshake what are you referring to?
im rich but i don't waste it on virtual trash HAHAHAHAHAHA PAY FOR MY FREE GAME SCRUBS
PSG.LGS secure the first victory for the Chinese region in a Major tournament, Team Liquid secure their TI8 invite with a 2nd place finish and Battle Pass is soon to be released.

@BorhInGame:
"After witnessing a complete collective meltdown on Reddit, Valve decided to take pity on the community and announce the Battle Pass on their twitter."
This and countless occurrences of Valve deferring to /r/Dota2 to speak for the community.
@RRDito it's rather pay to play, MOBAs are unplayable without this function, that's one of reasons why Dota is unrewarding, stressfull garbage
Correct the spelling mistake of LGD
the article preview for this says PSG.LGS. Please correct typo.
