yes it will be reset, but in general your rank will be +200 higher or lower recalibrating is just a show:D

Dont expect too much, the comment above mine is correct, you will only gain 200 or lose 200 mmr.
I confirmed this by calbrating multiple accs
It literally starts from your current mmr. You win 10 games, you get +250, you lose, you get -250.
Its just +25 mmr per game, no big deal, dont expect to get like 4k on recaibration as a 2k mmr

what is the best/efficient way to climb mmr? i heard unranked and ranked mmr are seperate, does this mean that at the start of the next season where mmr will be all reset, and for example I played 100 normal matches and got to HS/VHS with this account, will my 10 calibration matches seed from my unranked mmr? or from my current mmr? My solo rank is at 2.2k
