thats because of grouped up players
when i party with guardian/crusader players i will run into crusader/archon teams.
preventable by playing strict solo queue ranked
medal is nothing, lately i have been often matched up with enemies with 3-4 ranks here in total and usually that is when our team stomps.

Forgive me for being in the shit tier. But just for the thought. how is it balanced when you get matched up against a team who are way above your league and none of your teammates are close to his "skill" level? my team are usually terrrible players (if being a herald is not obvious enough) and we get matched up against higher leagues and it overwhelms them.
i forgot where i was going.
is this common? getting matched up against "stronger" opponents.
