all heroes are rather balanced now right? so i think all heroes can be picked

@^ picking the correct draft against opposite team's draft is another key to winning games.
1 lineup have a better winrate against other lineup, but can be countered hard by another lineup , and etc etc.
choosing the best heroes on situation ensure the best win possibility for your team

to answer to op's question: yes, mana dependant heroes such as timber can be easily countered by heroes with mana burn ( such as nyx, kotl, am, or invoker. ) but it's all depends on how they play timber, or how you play the counter pick.
picking counterpicks doesn't ensure win anyway

Id rate picking kotl 8/10 right now just because his mana burn is so annoying :/

@^ i just make clear that picking a counter pick doesnt mean 100% win . it's matter on either player's playstyle. and yea i also made myself clear that picking your team's draft correctly against enemy's draft means a better win possibility.

I pick Kotl to counter timber back then few days ago.
I think i played so well,we always winning in teamfight, but what can i do, my teammates just fucking 2-3k scrubs that repeatedly doing same mistakes all the time.We start losing fight after that and enemies got 2linkens
I believe even donkeys are smarter than them

mana drain is good against timber until the 4k+ timber player buys a lotus and purges the effect off himself

Just get a solar crest and timber isn't an issue

But you can just get an eul on timber and mana leak isnt a problem anymore, is it?

I'm usually never afraid of counter picks until 10 mins into the game, that's when I know the player knows his shit, like a dazzle that's forever in the fog

kotl is alrdy picked pretty often

solar crest is a useless item against timber

if u have to go those items early on ur fucked + ur fucked before u get the items + its on like a 4 second cd with chakra magic

ur all clowns if u think kotl doesnt coutner timber

I got flamed pretty hard when I jokingly said to bring kotl mid against timber, some guys just refuse to listen.
